I would have to say that I honestly, I do not know where I will
end up in my career in the next 5 years. Only time will be able to reveal the
truth in that. My plans for my career include many goals that I will have to
accomplish. I am unsure where my career will lead me in the future but I hope
it would be in medicine and being a doctor.
After 4 years of college studying to get my major in medical, I would
have to work in a hospital to get my certificate. Then I may directly to master
degree to get my specialization in medical. My plan I want to be a doctor for
children. Nowadays, lots of children are in need of medical attention and not
enough doctors to provide that kind of facility especially in my country,
Indonesia.
I always loved children and wish to help them in the future and
bring the better world in which hospital facilities are provided. If I can, I
would make medicine foundation where I can provide free services to the society
in the future. I hope I will earn my place in society and be a figure to look
up to. If I do succeed, the money I would have earned will be donated to the
people in need and foundation to help the world and society. I hope it would
relieve some pain and difficulty the society is facing.
Geographically, my job will most likely take me to village. I
will work for a few years in government hospital trying to improve my
communication skills. If I think I already good in communication, I will open
my little clinic. As a doctor I will help each other, I do not care how much
they pay me but I will care how I helped them. In that foundation, I hope to
provide employment for people in need and make sure everyone get treated
fairly.
My career should leave room for a family life as well. I don't
think that I am the type of person that would be consumed in work and never
make time for family if I were to have one. Although I believe that this career
leads to a lot of hard work and many deadlines. I hope I would still know my
priority and have still have contact with the person I love and people I am
close with today.
Anyway, I hope that in 5 years I would achieve my dreams and
start a new dream to help in the society, I hope I will not stray to the wrong
direction and stay focused to accomplish my goals. In the midst of all that, I
hope that I would still have the people I love nearby and by my side. Behind
every great man, there are family and friends supporting.
